Foley

We have traced the Foley family back to Joe's probable great-great-grandfather Michael Foley from Breanamore, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, who was born around the 1800s. He had a daughter, Anne (possibly an only child), who married Thomas Gordon around 1857. They had 16 children and lived in Kilgarriff, Fairymount, Co. Roscommon.
