Unfortunately, we know little about the family of Joe's potential 3rd great-grandmother Bridget Power. Bridget was born around 1768, probably in the Garryhill area of Co. Carlow. She was the wife of Thomas McDonald, with whom she had at least three children. The family lived in Knocklonogad in Garryhill.
